Welcome to our friendly community!
Because walking and cycling is the natural way to get around our beautiful city.
Hello! We are York’s friendly walking and cycling community. We run regular activities – monthly social rides, monthly walks as part of our walking book group, bike maintenance workshops, bike buddying, cake confidence for new cyclists, cycling families support, cycle bites evenings, an annual Walk Cycle Festival and interactive community social media. All free and a lot of fun! Everyone is welcome.
Take our survey and help us get ever better!

“I think Bike Belles is so successful as it’s a group of all ages with different backgrounds. It’s not competitive, just sociable and we all encourage each other.” Helena
“No other cycling groups compare to the vibrant sense of encouragement, community and support that Bike Belles provides. What a truly unique community.” Hazel
