Have you visited our greenway murals yet?
There are five murals altogether, on the best green routes heading out of the city – at Naburn Bridge on the Solar System Greenway to the south, under Tang Hall Lane and Melrosegate on Foss Islands Path to the east, and just before Skelton on the Way of the Roses Route (NCN 65) to the north.
Designed by Liz Collier Art, we’ve been painting (and repainting) the murals with you since 2015, and some remain in excellent condition. The bright and striking designs have transformed these Greenway walls, tunnels and bench spaces across the city.
Why not take a short walk or ride out to each. Or a longer day trip and visit them all? A visit is guaranteed to lift your spirits!
