Meet 11am Millennium Bridge

Did you know York now has a Fishergate-based walking book club?  We read a book around a theme every month, and meet the first Thursday of the month on the Millennium Bridge to talk about what we have read. With a social cafe stop afterwards.

As a #walkcyclefestival special, this month’s theme is the history of York.

We’ll walk along the river from Millennum Bridge through central York taking in York’s most iconic historical spots – Clifford’s Tower, the Shambles, the Minster, Museum Gardens and the Walls over Micklegate bar. With a cafe en route!

This is one of our favourite and most inspiring loops around town – well worth checking out!
