Join Peter from the York Rally Team and other friendly folk to cycle out to Poppleton to explore its historic district and local pub.
It’s a lovely ride out of the city along the riverside greenway. We’ll also be joined by Ken who leads the group of local volunteers for Sustrans and York Greenways to look after this beautiful path.
At Poppleton, we’ll visit Nether Poppleton’s lovely historic area with restored Tithe Barn, ancient church, village pond and take in the interesting Millennium Field area with its sculptures. Find out more about the historic Tithe Barn area here.
Finally, a trip to one of the excellent village pubs for drinks and food!
