Meet 5am Minster Tree (outside the west entrance of York Minster)
Join Dawn from York Bike Belles for an early morning ride to listen to one of Nature’s best treats at this time of year – the Dawn Chorus.
We will sleepily cycle together down the tree-lined riverside path with the first birds warming up overhead. We will then cross the Knavesmire on the cycle path to Knavesmire Wood for the main choral event. We will have a local bird expert, Andy from Sustrans, in our group who will be able to identify some of the bird voices for us.
We’ll then head back to Millennium Bridge for breakfast on the bridge. Please feel free to bring a hot drink and breakfast with you.
