Join David of York Civic Trust to ride a circular tour of the four historic strays of York.
The historic strays of York are four areas of common land dating from medieval times — Bootham Stray, Monk Stray, Micklegate Stray (including the race-course) and Walmgate Stray.
We’ll visit points of interest on the strays and learn more about their history and current management.
