Our new Urban Wildlife Gardening Workshop with Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. Raj said, “What a brilliant session!” We are looking after our new Wilder Space on Terry Avenue with regular gardening sessions from now on.

Beautiful tree blossom – Blackthorn, Hawthorn, Cherry Plum and Cherry. We’ve been lucky enough to see great blossom displays this Spring.

The smiles! Every activity we’ve done has been full of smiles as people feel, smell, see and hear the delights and surprises in nature around them.

There have been 70 bookings on our Nature Rides. Together we have explored the changes in nature as Spring has blossomed on our green cycling routes.

Our first 100th birthday ride! Trish was pedalled to the Minster on our Triobike with her carer and a 100th birthday balloon! “It was brilliant, I’m so glad I did this on my birthday.” Trish.

The flowers we’ve seen this Spring have been glorious, from Daffodils to Dandelions, Buttercups to Bistort and Celandines to Comfrey. Almost too many to count!

Our Spring Nature Walks have been really successful. It’s been exciting to see the natural world spring into life, becoming greener, more colourful and ringing with birdsong over the past 8 weeks.

Lots of people have enjoyed getting out and about on our Triobike rides. Our amazing volunteer pedallers have looked after them all!
