Chair of York CVS, Jane, says:
“I hadn’t been on a bike for 50 years. I was terrified. However I felt supported from the minute I arrived at Cycle Heaven. It was a lovely friendly atmosphere with a small group of us chatting over tea and cake. Under the watchful eye of the excellent trainer, I felt like a kid again, whizzing along the greenway. I am still very much a learner, but would never have got started otherwise. How on earth did I live in a city like York and not ride a bike! I can’t recommend the scheme highly enough.
Oh, and the cake was fabulous”
