We’re offering two rewarding part-time jobs as part of our exciting new Life’s Better By Bike project. The roles will enrich the lives of a wide range of local people through cycling.

You’ll enjoy working outdoors in cycling and supporting people as part of our motivated team. You’ll also enjoy varied, interesting, sociable work and skills development opportunities. You’ll feel genuine job satisfaction as you experience first hand the difference you can make to people’s lives.
Job 1 – Project Officer: Employed, 16 hours a week, October 2026 until December 2027. £12,600 pa (£27,000 pa pro rata). Hybrid, working from York’s green and community spaces and from home. Core working days are Mondays, Tuesdays and one Saturday a month.

I’m an engaging and intelligent communicator, supportive and patient with people, an excellent organiser, very confident in digital working and have a positive ‘can do’ attitude.”
